Annual Club Mass 16th March

Annual Club Mass will be at Our Lady Lourdes, Steelstown at 6.30pm on
Tuesday, 16th March 2010. There will be refreshments and sandwiches
etc afterwards in the clubhouse. Everyone is encouraged to attend. If
anybody can help provide some sandwiches, cakes, biscuits, tea or coffee
can you email either or by Friday to confirm please.

Blood Donation Wednesday 3rd March

Steelstown Brian Ogs will be hosting the Northern Ireland Blood Transfusion Service for a blood donation session on Wednesday 3rd March. These sessions are vitally important for the provision of blood to the community. If you can attend, please do so. This event is open to anybody over the required age, both club members and non club members.

Session Hours 2pm-4pm and 5:15pm-8pm

Anniversary Mass

Dinner Dance Tickets

All those wanting tickets for the dinner dance in the Tower Hotel, they will be available for collection in the club house every wednesday from 6.30 to 7.30. This will be a big night for the club, with guest speakers, Mickey Harte and Tony Scullion.

Pairc Bhrid Development
A lot of work has been going on at Pairc Bhrid over the last two weeks. The new training area is taking shape, and we would like to thank all those volunteers who put in a back-breaking shift on Saturday. The new car-parking area should be complete this week.

Club merchandise

Club merchandise can be ordered/collected at the following times. Wednesday evenings 6:00 to 7:00 pm and Saturday mornings 10:30 to 12pm. Gift vouchers are now available for merchandise. The last date for orders before Christmas is the 30th October.
Under 10 News

U10 training continues on Saturday morning from 10 to 11:30am. We would ask that children bring a drink and come prepared for wet weather. U10s travelled to Milford last Saturday to play the home team and Strabane. It was a great day out and was enjoyed by all. We would like to thank Milford for their hospitality.
U8 News
U8 training continues Wednesday 6pm – 7pm and Saturday morning 10.00am -11.30am.  Children should be appropriately dressed for outdoors and all players should bring their own water bottle.  New girls and boys are always welcome.  Our Under 6 group caters for children from ages 3+.  We would like to invite more parents to get involved and help our coaches to manage the very large numbers at both sessions.

Girls Football
a match for the U14 girls has been arranged for this Sunday 25th Oct at 11am against Banagher at Pairc Brid. All girls are asked to bring boots, gloves, football shorts and socks meet at pitch at 11am for throw in at 11.30am. All girls over 10yrs are welcome to come along, why not bring a friend? We are now planning to build a U14 team to compete in next years All Ireland feile so new recruits are always welcome, no previous experience necessary!
Training for all girls now starts at 6pm until 7pm every Monday  £2/child
Irish Dancing

Please note that anyone who is interested in learning Irish dancing with our host school the  Heraghty School of Irish dancing at Steelstown Brian Ógs has resumed. Classes available for all ages and levels to cater for newcomers. Please enrol on Saturdays 2pm at the clubhouse with Mary Heraghty TCRG An Comhdháil

Volunteers needed 11am Saturday

Paric Bhrid has seen plenty of development this week with the new training field taking shape throughout the week. The topsoil has been laid and is nearly ready for seeding.
Volunteers are now needed to help clear the area of rocks. Anyone who is available at 11am on Saturday is asked to come along. If you have a wheelbarrow, bring it along too!! We ask as many people to come out as possible! A lot of work has been put in to get it this far and the more people who turn out the easier the work will be!
