The mens’ senior team play Drumsurn in the first round of the Intermediate Championship on Saturday, at 3:15pm in Faughanvale. We’d ask club members to come out and support the team. Under 8s training at usual times Wed 6.30-7.30pm and Saturday morning 10.00am -11.30am. Summer Cul Camp applications are now available please see U8, U10 and U12 coaches. It will be held over 4 days, 26th July to 29th July, 10.00am to 2.30pm. We also plan to have our own Club Summer Camp from 15th August to 19th August (5 days). We are looking for young players and adults from our Club to help out. Please forward your names if you are interested to Mark Rabbett or Bernie McMonagle U8 coaches. U10 training will continue on Wednesday nights from 6.30 to 7.30pm and from 10 to 11.30am on Saturdays. The coaches would like to congratulate all three U10 teams on their performance last week at the Blitz held at Owenbeg. They played some excellent football and were complimented by the other teams that we played. They were well turned out and their overall attitude is a credit to their parents and themselves. Well done to everyone. S This weekend the U13s travel to Glen for what should be a very interesting and competitive match, details to follow. The Steelstown U12 Community Games team travel to Faughanvale on Saturday to play in the Ulster semi final, Good Luck Girls! There is an U12 blitz in Owenbeg this evening (Friday) palyers to meet at the club at 6pm sharp. The Steelstown lady seniors travel to Slaughtmanus on Monday for a league game, details to follow. Training times for all girls/ladies football is at the following times every Monday and Friday evening from 6pm to 7:15pm. All players should bring indoor and outdoor footwear, £1 and a bottle of water. Every Wednesday night from 7pm to 8pm for minors and senior players only. There is a ladies circuit training session in the hall which is open to the general public, bring £2 and a bottle of water. Steelstown would like to welcome any new girls of all ages who would like to play gaelic football to join our club. Just come along, give it ago, enjoy playing and enjoy the craic. Circuit training takes place on Wednesdays 6.30 to 7.30pm indoors at our Clubhouse, all welcome. Gaelic for Mums is back each Thursday 8pm to 9pm, no previous playing experience needed and good fun for all!
