The mens’ senior team made it through to the Division 2 League Final yesterday, defeating Foreglen by 1-06 to 0-07.
Brian Ógs will now play Craigbane in the league final, with the winners gaining promotion to Division 1. Details will be released as soon as they become available.
Steelstown will play castledawson in the intermediate championship final on 2nd October in Celtic park.

Steelstown Seniors will play Foreglen in the Semi-Final of the Intermediate Football Championship on Sunday.
This is the first intermediate semi-final in the history of the club and all Brian Og’s members and supporters are asked to come along and support the team. Throw-in is at 3:30 in Castledawson.
Due to the clash with the Intermediate Semi Final, the Night at the races that was planned for Lifford Stadium has been rescheduled. It will now take place on Friday 8th October in the function rooms at Pitchers Wine Bar and Restaurant, at Foyle Golf Club. Tickets will now cost the lower price of £20. this includes entry and a hot buffet meal as well an night’s entertainment. To buy a horse for a race will cost £20 and this can be done from the club merchandise stand (on Saturday mornings and Wednesday evenings 7-8pm,) or from any team manager. We are also seeking race sponsors, this will cost £50 and will get the company name at each race, on the race night program and also on the club website www.steelstown.ie. The under 12s travelled to Kilrea to take part in a blitz. They played games against teams from south Derry including Kilrea, Magherafelt and Ballinascreen.

Steelstown under 10s with their certificates for successfully completing a skills day at the club.
Steelstown Brian Ógs got the new season off to a winning start yesterday at Pairc Bríd, defeating Donaghmoyne from County Monaghan in an entertaining game. After a half time which saw Brian Ógs go in 0-05 to 0-07 down, Steelstown hit six unanswered points and closed out the game to win 0-13 t0 0-10. Next up is an away trip to Malin next weekend.
