Ulster GAA have just announced scholarships for GAA members applying for Ulster University’s Irish Language Diploma from September 2016 in what is the fourth year of this collaboration with Ulster University. Over 70 scholarships have been awarded to date and it is likely that this commitment from Ulster GAA will benefit a further 30 learners in the year ahead.
Just a reminder that all coaches/volunteers require vetting. If you are 16-18 years written parental consent is required. All vetting has to be sorted by our children’s officer Maria Forester so please contact her on 07710240780 if need be.
Club’s committee and wider membership would like to extend our sincere condolences to the family of Brian Cooper, who passed away last night, the funeral willl take place on 1pm Friday at Pennyburn. He is survived by two daughters, Catriona and Nuala, and two sons, Gerard and Brian Junior. May he rest in peace.
There will be an Irish Language Workshop by Colm McGuigan of Liofa at the Clubhouse on Saturday at 12 o’clock.

Tickets for this years Dinner Dance which takes place on the 6th February at the Wateroot hotel will be available on Thursday 28th from 7-8pm at the clubhouse. Tickets £25 each
