Steelstown under 14 boys took part in the Ulster Feile at the weekend at Glenullin and Swatragh and acquitted themselves very well with fine performances all over the field. They topped their division 2 group with 3 wins from 3 over Warrenpoint, Glenullin and Limavady . Brian Ógs went on to Swatragh for the semi-final against Carrickmore where they lost by a point after leading by 2 points with 5 mins left. Carrickmore went on to to beat Swatragh by 9 points in the final; this just shows the lads are not too far away from achieving good things. Incidentally Carrickmore finished runners-up in the ‘A’ feile in Tyrone this year. A big well done to all those who took part and to all those who followed the boys to support them around the county on Saturday.
